Hello there!

I am Tim Aschhoff, a Computer Science student from Germany, currently finishing his Bachelor's at RWTH Aachen University.

My main interest is in working on performant software, without sacrificing correctness.

A couple of years ago, I discovered the Rust programming language, which seemed to perfectly match my goals and interests, and I have been enjoying using it immensely ever since.

My previous efforts into learning about modern computer performance include, a software renderer I built years ago in Java, my recreation of this project in Rust, my recent effort to make a very high performance Factorio Clone(which I wrote a post on), or working on High Performance Computing (as I did in my Bachelor Thesis).
